Your hands are a miracle & a gift from God! I feel great again! Now the weekend can begin.
Thanks for the numerous adjustments. Without you, I wouldn't have been able to achieve such athletic performance. Hopefully, I can someday follow in your "big" footsteps.

Kenneth E. Saari D.C.
I hold a doctorate in chiropractic with 11 years of academic university training and have been in private practice for over 25 years in New York.
Dr. Saari is an expert in his field.
I got an appointment for the next day right away, didn't have to wait more than 5 minutes, and was warmly welcomed and treated excellently. Thank you!!

Dr. Kenneth Saari and his team are extremely polite, professional, and serious. After a 2-minute review of my X-rays and measurements with a special device, Dr. Kenneth immediately knew where my issues were. He is so technically skilled that you barely feel the adjustments. I had several problems before with some so-called chiropractors, but with Dr. Kenneth, I feel well taken care of!
Özer YILDIZ
The best chiropractor in Vienna! I had been struggling with various parts of my spine for some time. Fortunately, Dr. Saari was recommended to me! A truly kind person who immediately figured out where my pain (especially in the lumbar spine and neck due to sitting in the office) was and fixed it – I already felt much better the very next day. This man is worth every penny!

Dr. Saari has helped my partner and me incredibly. After a long journey through orthopedists, hospitals, etc., where we invested a lot of money but gained little health benefit, we discovered American chiropractic with Dr. Saari. Years of back, knee, and hip pain were permanently solved in a single session! Once the bones are properly aligned, the muscles stop tensing, and the pain disappears. Pinched nerves (which you often have without pain) are also relieved, and it allowed me to breathe more easily. I highly recommend stopping by here; you have nothing to lose, but everything to gain. The office staff is also highly motivated and incredibly nice. You rarely find such a team. Thank you both!

DC Saari is my first point of contact when my back hurts again, and all my (exercise) attempts or self-tries to resolve blockages fail or are unsuccessful.
DC Saari is a master of his craft and always very empathetic and friendly!
Thank you for today's treatment. I truly floated home afterward!

Effects of Spinal Misalignments
Every area of the body (organs and muscles) is controlled by nerves. The function of the nervous system is to send electric impulses to the muscles, organs and other bodily tissues to innervate them and keep them functioning normally. The normal function of these nerves can be disturbed by misalignments of the vertebrae causing malfunction of the muscular system and organic disturbances.
The most common muscular symptoms of pinched nerves are:
Pressure and muscle spasms, needle/stabbing pain with or without radiation, numbness and tingling, in fingers arms legs or feet. The following is a list of symptoms that could develop as a result of a misaligned vertebrae or pinched nerve in the cervical, thoracic or lumbar spine. They can occur with disc involvement or without disc involvement.

Cervical Spine / Neck Area
Some of the symptoms that may occur in the cervical spine (Neck) as a result of a misaligned vertebrae are the following:
- Headaches/Migraines
- Dizziness or vertigo
- Neck pain (Cervical syndrome/cervicalgia/brachialgia/neuralgia/spondylosis)
- Cervical radiculitis
- Cervical radiculopathy
- Pain in the shoulders
- Pain radiating down the arm into the hand or hands
- Tingling in one or both arms, hands and fingers
- Numbness in the arms, hands or fingers
- Weakness in the arms
- Facial pain
- Occasionally it could cause tinnitus (ringing in the ears)
- Chronic tiredness/exhaustion
Thoracic Spine
- Pain in the mid back
- Pain in or around the shoulder blades
- Difficulty or painful breathing
- Pain radiating into the shoulders
- Pain between the ribs (intercostal neuritis/neuralgia)
- Occasionally can cause chest pain leading to panic attacks.
Lumbar Spine
- Lower back pain
- Pain in Sacro-iliac region
- Sciatic nerve pain radiating into one or both legs
- Tingling in the legs and/or feet
- Numbness in one or both legs and feet
- Pain in the buttocks or hip area
It must be known that any chronic pain syndrome can lead to mental and emotional problems such as depression, anxiety, panic attacks, nervousness and insomnia.
Disc Problems
The vast majority of people over the age of twenty five have some kind of a disc problem. This can be a bulging disc, protruding disc, herniated disc, prolapsed disc or extruded disc. Disc derangement is rarely a problem unless it is putting pressure on a nerve. If the protruding disc is compressing, pinching or irritating the nerve, the patient will invariably experience either pain, numbness, tingling or weakness.
Globally, there are billions of people walking around who have bulging, protruding or herniated discs and have no symptoms at all. If the protruding disc is pinching or pressing on the nerve, then the patient will experience symptoms.

FAQs
Which languages do you speak?
We speak German, English, Hungarian, Turkish, Spanish, Romanian and Russian.
How often do I need to come in?
Dr. Saari and physio Cristina try their best to help everyone as quickly as possible, in order for you to get back to the daily tasks of life without suffering pain.
If a patient has had a problem for 10, 20, 30 years or more, it could possibly take more than one or two visits. This however, it not common, as most problems only take one or two visits to resolve.
It is recommended not to go longer than 6 months without a spinal examination
What can happen if I do not have a spinal check up for a long time? What is fusion and how can I prevent it?
Daily activities such as sitting abnormally, bending, lifting and twisting, if done improperly, can cause the vertebrae to go out of alignment and lock. This could put abnormal pressure on the discs and the spinal nerves which could lead to spinal disc bulges and herniations as well as cause pain, numbness or tingling in the arms or legs.
If a bone shifts out of position and locks, often there can be no pain or symptoms at all. This can be problematical because if the bone is not sitting in it’s proper position, degeneration and arthrosis can occur, which can lead to fusion.
Once fusion takes place, then a misaligned joint can no longer be corrected. Joints were made for motion. If you do not have proper motion in a joint, then eventually you will lose it. This is why it is important to get checked periodically to see if there are any structural changes or misalignments in the spine.
Do I need to take X-rays and MRT’s with me?
If you have them, please bring them. If you do not have them, it is all right, as they may not be necessary.
Is chiropractic care covered by public health insurance?
No. Chiropractic must be paid for privately throughout Austria and is not covered by public health insurance. Due to the comparatively low fees, we try to keep the costs low for our patients.
How quickly can I get an appointment with you?
As quickly as possible. We do NOT want to see anyone suffer unnecessarily. We are here to help.
Is chiropractic dangerous? Does it have side effects?
When chiropractic is performed by a trained professional, it is not only safe, but also extremely helpful. Dr. Saari has over 35 years of experience in his field and takes extreme care with each patient. Frequently, he will work on difficult or unusual cases.
Will my treatment hurt?
Any technique used, if applied properly, should not cause you pain. Rather, they should result in eliminating pain and restoring mobility.
Can I do sports directly after a correction?
Most patients feel improvement instantly. However, the vast majority feel the greatest improvement upon waking up the next morning. The reason for this is that if there is a bit of swelling or inflammation in the spinal joint, once the pressure is taken off the nerve and normal mobility is restored, the swelling goes down overnight resulting in less pressure on and around the nerve.
Except in certain cases, it is recommended not to engage in sports the day of the correction. Once the pain is gone, (usually the next day) the patient may resume engaging in sports.
I have scoliosis, can I also be treated?
Yes, scoliosis is generally not an obstacle, since the problem is not caused by the scoliosis itself, but by a single vertebra out of position pressing on a nerve.
From what age can I be treated?
There is no age limit. Nevertheless, if a minor comes in, they must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
After an injury or mishap, how do I treat pain & swelling at home?
It is important never to use heat on an acute injury. Heat will dilate the blood vessels and create more inflammation. This will result in a longer healing process. For acute injuries ice is preferred and necessary to keep the swelling down. Ice packs should be used for 30-40 minutes and can be applied every 2 hours.
